  • 1 Mission Plain Pita – torn to serve

  • 500g Durian flesh

  • 750ml Coconut milk

  • 500ml Water

  • 250g Palm sugar

  • 100g Sugar

  • 100g Red sugar

  • 2 tsp Salt

  • 3 Screw pine leaves

  • 100g All purpose flour

  • ½ cup Water

  • Step 1

    Using a whisk, mix the flour and water until combined, without any lumps.

  • Step 2

    Put durian, coconut milk, water, palm sugar, sugar, red sugar, salt and screw pine leaf in a pot and bring to a boil.

  • Step 3

    Once boiled, add the flour mixture and cook until it thickens to a thick gravy consistency.

  • Step 4

    Serve with torn pieces of Mission Plain Pita.
